Tennis & PICKLEBALL Court Rules
Courts are open for use from 8:00 a.m to 9:30 p.m.
The courts must be pre-booked using the SKEDDA scheduling site.
Courts are to be used for tennis/pickleball only.
No smoking, food, or beverages permitted on the tennis/pickleball courts.
Non-marking court shoes and proper tennis/pickleball attire must be worn on the court at all times.
Club scheduled play takes precedence over all other play.
Adults have priority over minors during weekend play. Minors may complete their game in progress, then surrender the court.
Tennis singles play takes priority over ball machine use; doubles play takes priority singles play. Singles may complete their set before surrendering the court to waiting members if the set was begun prior to the members’ waiting.
A maximum tennis set may be played to 7-6 when members are waiting.
When doubles play is finished and two others are waiting, follow this procedure: The four who have just played will spin the racquet to determine which two will play with the waiting two others.
Good sportsmanship shall always be observed; foot faults, service faults, and out balls shall be called by the receiving side.
Professional tennis/pickleball lessons shall not be conducted without the written permission of the Board of Directors posted on the bulletin board.
Tennis/PICKLEBALL Lesson Rules
Any member may reserve a court to hold a private/semi-private lesson.
The court must be pre-booked using the SKEDDA scheduling site. Please indicate when booking that it is a lesson.
The member is responsible for all payments made to the instructor.
The member must sign in the instructor as their guest and will be billed a guest fee.
Kids Group Lessons/Clinics Info
Group lessons must be approved by the Board.
The following applies to all kids group lessons:
They are open to all members in the specified age range (generally 5-15)
Parents are responsible for payment made to the instructor on behalf of their child.
Nonmember children may sign up for the class, so long as the class is not impacted, and there is a member adult who is signing them in.
Parents need to remain present during the class.
